Where students come first

The Hartford Music Teachers Alliance was founded in 2014 by independent teachers dedicated to the advancement of music and the growth of young musicians.

We are an organization serving Instrument and Voice Teachers who live or work in Hartford, Tolland, Windham, and New Haven.

Our goals:

• To encourage and uphold high standards of music teaching and artistic performance
• To give all students the opportunity for learning and growth in a positive and supportive environment, through recitals, adjudicated festivals, and competitions
• To promote good will and friendship among professional music teachers
• To establish bonds between private music teachers and the community
