The Hartford Music Teachers Alliance was founded in 2014 by independent teachers dedicated to the advancement of music and the growth of young musicians.
Our goals:
- To encourage and uphold high standards of music teaching and artistic performance
- To give all students the opportunity for learning and growth in a positive and supportive environment, through recitals, adjudicated festivals, and competitions
- To promote good will and friendship among professional music teachers
- To establish bonds between private music teachers and the community
